Think about the Filipino children out there who can potentially impact the globe - our future doctors, nurses, scientists, lawyers, entrepreneurs, programmers. Such bright minds, such bright futures. But there's bad news: a lot of them are not in school right now. And it's primarily because they can't afford it. These sons and daughters of fishermen and farmers in the poorest regions of the Philippines cannot gather the humble $15 or Php600 required for public school enrollment costs, but - through the help of donors - KRIS Library can. KRIS is running a race of time before June (the start of the school year) to raise funds for 100 poor scholars. With only over a month left, we still have to raise almost $1000 (around Php40,000).
